Maximum of three hits per side

Player may not hit the ball twice in succession (A block is not considered a hit)

Ball may be played off the net during a volley and on a serve

A ball hitting a boundary line is in

A ball is out if it hits

an antennae,

the floor completely outside the court,

any of the net or cables outside the antennae,

the referee stand or pole,

the ceiling above a non playable area

It is legal to contact the ball with any part of a players body

It is illegal to catch, hold, or throw the ball

If two or more players contact the ball at the same time, it is considered one play
and either player involved may make the next contact
(provided the next contact isn't the teams 4th hit)

A player can not block or attack a serve from on or inside the 10 foot line

After the serve, front line players may switch positions at the net

At higher competition, the officiating crew may be made up of two refs,

line judges, scorer, and an assistant scorer

History


The game of volleyball, was originally called “mintonette,” was invented by William G. Morgan after the invention of basketball only four years before. Morgan, a graduate of the Springfield College of the YMCA, designed the game to be a combination of basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball.

I have learnt What Taha Tinana means.I enjoyed adding in all the beautiful pictures for the background so that my post doesn't look boring.I was successful because instead of focusing on games i focused on finishing my work. The thing that i found challenging was writing so much but I just kept thinking about finishing. I used my chrome and some websites for information and worked on my chrome to finish my my project.Now that i know this maybe i can help other people with their health.

In this video my group is shania and I.Shania and I we are singing Let it go by james arthur.And i am playing no instrument.What I found difficult about learning this piece was…singing the same notes as my partner.Some challenges we faced as a group were…what song we were going to sing and learning how to sing the same notes as my partner.We/I overcome these challenges by…by listening to each other sing.Our performance was good because…we had the same notes as each other.Our performance could have been better if…..we practiced our song more.What I enjoyed about this task was…getting to sing.What I learned from this task was… How to find the same notes.What I will do differently for the next task is...learn the song off by heart!.

I like the way that I can smile at you and you will know exactly what I am thinking.I really can't find the words that are strong enough to express how much you mean to me. I want to thank you for all the times you have been there for me throughout the past year. I want you to know how much you mean to me and how much I need you. Not all friends stand by you when you go through your darkest times in your life but you have and I appreciate that so much. You’re my best friend, the person that I always turn to when I am in need a shoulder to cry on when in need and somebody to hug just when I want to. You most probably already know this but true friends are hard to find that's why I'm so glad to have you. Sometimes, you can be a pain in the butt but I still love you.A true friend is someone who stands by your side, a true friend is who you are and I love you so much for that. You’re  special to me, you’re someone who I can never replace. I love you so much words cannot explain.  

We have both had our ups and downs but throughout it all we both had each other. I just want you to know that If something bad ever happens in your life I'll be there for you always. I love you to the moon and back. I look up to you because you’re strong, caring, smart and sometimes lazy but that's what makes you you. I can't imagine going through a single day without hearing your voice or seeing your smile. I dont think that I would ever find someone as special as you to replace you with. Just remember, if we get caught breaking the law you act deaf and I don’t speak English okay? But just remember, if you’re alone I'll be your shadow. If you want to cry I'll be your shoulder, if you want to hug I'll be your pillow,  if you need to be happy, I'll be your smile but anytime you need a friend I'll just be me xx.Friends can say that they love you but really they are fake but a friend will calm you down when you are angry but me as your best friend will skip with you down the road with a baseball bat singing someones gonna get it.And that's why you love me and I love you.
